A completely different service used to occupy this domain. People still arrive here from articles and links written at that time, so the history should be stated plainly.
The previous occupant
From 2021 to 2023, goodgoodmart.com was used by an online store called Good Good Mart. Built around “social good” and ethical themes, it sold plant-based food, allergen-free groceries, vegan cosmetics and environmentally considered household goods.
It was operated by Frembassy Inc., which had run a plant-based information portal called Vegewel since 2016. Good Good Mart launched in January 2021 as a renaming of the company's earlier “Vegewel Marché”. In February 2022 Frembassy joined the euglena Co., Ltd. group.
Good Good Mart closed in 2023, and the domain registration subsequently lapsed.
How this site relates to it
Ethical Pantry is an entirely separate publication, run by Deepak Banga, who acquired the domain after it lapsed.

At the same time, to avoid any confusion with the former brand, this site is named Ethical Pantry and every page links to this explanation.
